Just because it's been so long

Here is a post, my friends. This is the view from the deck of my house. That is my neighbor's 3rd floor balcony/deck. Small child's birthday party mixed with danger? Count me in!

Ah, Summer in Connecticut!

Chris and I have had a really fun summer.
Disneyland...the Mystic Aquarium, Concerts in
parks, concerts on boats--it's been great!
This is us at a carshow/music festival. There
are a few nice pictures mixed in the coming posts,
but buckle up people--there are a lot of freaks!
It seems like no matter where we went there were
a lot of weirdos. So since I don't have adorable
small children like all of my siblings, I have decided to
go for shock value instead of cute! Enjoy the freak
show! And see you in another 8 months.... it takes
me that long to come up with anything interesting to
post. :)

Nice photo first: This is one of my favorite
pictures of the
summer. My niece Hailey
waving to
the Princesses at the Princess Parade
at Disneyland. So sweet!

The Terryville Carshow/Music Fest

This guy was at the outdoor music festival and
car show in Terryville which is near Plainville.
I know it was hot out, but C'MON! I think when
you eat that much Taco Bell, they give you the
Chihuahua for free...

Afro-Magic and his sidekick Tattoo.

And the CREEPY Award goes to...

Baron Von Butterworth! (that's what we named him)
We went to a Concert on the Green in New Haven
a while back and sat near the Yale Lindy Society. They
were dancing up a storm with members of the crowd, and
this guy was ALL OVER IT. I think he danced with this
poor girl at least four times--kissing her hand at the end.
It was really gross. See if you can catch the "please save
me" look on her face. All I can say about his outfit is WHY???

Freak fest continued...

A close-up of the Baron. I'm pretty sure he used
a good amount of product in his beard and

mustache to control those curls...blech! Just wrong.

The crowd at the concert got really into it and
formed a huge conga line around the park.

This is a shot of the Squirrel Nut Zippers at the
Concert on the Green in New Haven.
